Access using public transport
2 itineraries are possible: from the Massy-Palaiseau station or the Lozère station.
Connecting buses link the station to the campus.

From the Porte d'Orléans or Porte d'Italie: by the A6 highway.

The reception service

The reception service of École Polytechnique is located in the hall of the building n.69, accessible from Cour Ferrié.

Bénédicte Guichard and Samy Kara Mosly welcome visitors on weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm and can be reached at 01 69 33 36 36.

They are responsible for welcoming, informing and guiding visitors. They can also accompany them, if necessary, to their meeting places. They help with taxi bookings and lost items management as well.

ACCOMMODATION

Rooms have been reserved on the campus for the 15 PhD students involved in the Aquality project (45 euros per night).

A list of hotels is provided below; they have been selected based on their distance to Ecole polytechnique but all of them remain too far to come walking and you will have to take the bus for 10 or 15 minutes. If you plan to visit Paris, it will be more convenient to choose a hotel located near the RER B train line, in the south of Paris (near Denfert Rochereau or Cité Universitaire, for instance) but the cost will be probably higher.
